The 1000/2000 series have only half the RAM of the 3000/Go so some emus won't run as smoothly or quickly, probably most notable with the SNES I'd say. SNES9X - the latest revisions have sorted out some of the framerate and compatibility problems, now it's well worth checking out. Handy - Lynx, a little slow and rough-sounding but every game I've tried is playable. UO gpSP kai - GBA, runs the vast majority of 2D stuff perfectly - just avoid games that try to use polygons!
